Bruce Hoffman: “How October 7 Changed Everything: Lessons from Terrorism for Counterterrorism”

Bruce Hoffman (Georgetown University and the Council on Foreign Relations) has been studying terrorism and insurgency for almost half a century. He is the Shelby Cullom and Kathryn W. David senior fellow for counterterrorism and homeland security at the Council on Foreign Relations and a tenured professor at the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. Professor Hoffman has written several books about terrorism including the classic Inside Terrorism and, with Jacob Ware, God, Guns, and Sedition: Far-Right Terorrism in America.
